The Barolo & Barbaresco Roadshow Academy kicked off in February, offering wine professionals a unique opportunity to explore the world of Barolo and Barbaresco in depth.  

These immersive educational experiences took place in six cities across three southwestern states (Texas, Arizona and Colorado), hosting seminars and tastings in Dallas, Houston, Austin, San Antonio, Phoenix and Denver, drawing strong interest from sommeliers, buyers, and wine educators alike.  

Each session focused on the unique terroir of the Langhe region, examining its diverse microclimates, soils, and the historical evolution of viticulture in the area. 

The program also highlighted ideal food pairings for these wines, thanks to the involvement of the Consortium for the protection of Fontina PDO who proudly developed different tastings of Fontina Cheese in four of the main cities. 

The event saw sold-out educational sessions led by Master Sommeliers and representatives from the Consortium solidifying the growing demand for these esteemed wines.
